About Bianka
The Ostrich Inn has stood on Colnbrook High Street since long before anyone thought of levelling the fields at Heath Row, and Bianka likes meeting near it for that reason alone. Curvy, 165 cm, her long light brown hair sun-kissed through the ends by a summer she refuses to apologise for, hazel eyes that change with whichever lamp she happens to be under. Twenty three, she dresses warm rather than cold: soft knits, a proper coat, one piece of jewellery that never comes off. The effect is less lobby and more front room.
Warmth is the whole of her. She is the companion who asks after your mother, remembers the answer and brings it back an hour later. Very little hurries her, not a late inbound, not a room smaller than the photographs promised. English does all the work here and she speaks it gently, filling a silence only when it begins to feel like effort. She bakes, enthusiastically and not always well, and will describe a collapsed loaf in more detail than it deserves.
Colnbrook keeps its own clock. The hotels sit along Poyle Road and the Old Bath Road, five to ten minutes from Terminal 5 depending entirely on the Poyle roundabout, and the village itself is a short walk of low brick and old signage. Bianka travels out from Knightsbridge, an hour on a good night and rather more when the motorway is shut at junction three, so she leaves in plenty of time and arrives calm. Bookings on this side of the airport open at three hours, her travel counted within them, which leaves room for dinner and for the talking that follows it.
Write to Hester with where you are staying and roughly when you land, and she will build the night backwards from that. The buses, the High Street walk and every hotel on Poyle Road are on the Colnbrook page.

Booking her evening
Tell Hester the hotel and whether your flight is an evening arrival or a morning departure, and she will place the start time to suit. Three hours is the shortest booking out here, travel included.
Her figures are the desk figures, published in full on rates, and the whole arrangement runs in one thread from the first line to the confirmation. Every frame in the hall is reached from the hall.

An evening with Bianka
Bianka would rather arrive an hour early than land in your lobby flustered, so she tends to be in Colnbrook before she is needed, walking the High Street while the light goes. The evening itself is unhurried by design. She likes a drink somewhere with a low ceiling and a fire before anybody thinks about dinner, and she handles the stretch of conversation in which a tired guest works out whether he wants to talk at all. Dinner is usually back at your hotel, because that is the truth of this corner: the village has history and the hotels have kitchens. Afterwards there is the walk, if the weather allows, along a road where the loudest thing is the traffic on the bypass. She never checks the time in front of you. When the booking ends she says so, thanks you properly and goes without the awkward shuffle that spoils so many good evenings.

Is Colnbrook actually in London?
There is no station here. Does that matter?
What if my flight moves?

Written in afterwards
Nothing is written here for Bianka yet, which out here is usually what discretion looks like. A note appears only when a guest writes one, she agrees to it, and the desk has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
