About Sonya
Longford has one road through it and one hotel at the end, which makes it the simplest set of directions anywhere on this site. Sonya gives them without looking anything up. Athletic, 162 cm, her dark brown hair long and straight, and hazel eyes that are the first thing most people mention afterwards. At thirty two she dresses with complete certainty: black, well cut, one good watch, nothing that requires a second thought from her or from anyone else.
She is composed, wry and entirely unimpressed by rank, which guests who are used to being deferred to find unexpectedly restful. She listens far more than she speaks and she is very hard to lie to. She speaks English with precision, never a word placed for decoration. She runs long distances at unreasonable hours of the morning and declines to explain why.
That hotel stands at the Longford end of the Bath Road, twenty minutes on foot from Terminal 5 or five by car, with the village pub and the stream a short walk behind it. Sonya likes this address for early departures, because it allows an evening that ends properly rather than one that finishes at a taxi rank at midnight. She comes out from Knightsbridge, either on the Piccadilly line with a five minute ride west from Terminal 5, or an hour by road, depending entirely on the hour. The three hour minimum applies here with travel counted inside, and she would not take a shorter booking this far out in any case.
One road, one hotel at the end of it, and the whole approach written out on the Longford page. Ask Hester which nights Sonya is out here. She will hold one for you rather than juggle it.

Booking her evening
Sonya takes a small number of evenings a week and holds them for guests on early departures. Ask Hester for her next date and give her the flight time along with the hotel.
Her figures are the desk figures, published in full on rates, and the whole arrangement runs in one thread from the first line to the confirmation. Every frame in the hall is reached from the hall.

An evening with Sonya
Sonya's evenings are shaped around your alarm rather than around dinner, because almost everyone staying at Longford is leaving before most of London wakes up. She arrives early, she eats early and she has no interest in a late night for its own sake. What she offers in exchange is an evening with absolutely no friction in it: she takes the small decisions, she never asks a question she does not want the answer to, and she is comfortable enough in her own company that you are allowed to be quiet. Around the second hour the humour starts to show, dry and rather sharp, and it is worth waiting for. She is gone in time for you to sleep properly, and she will say goodnight in the corridor rather than drawing it out in the room.

Written in afterwards
Nothing is written here for Sonya yet, which out here is usually what discretion looks like. A note appears only when a guest writes one, she agrees to it, and the desk has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
