About Margo
Terminals two and three share a station, a bus tunnel and a permanent sense of being between things, and Margo has made a speciality of the hour after you leave them. Slim, 166 cm, her dark brown hair long and straight, her brown eyes reading a room once and then losing interest in it. At thirty one she dresses like somebody who gave up guessing years ago: navy or black, a single bracelet, a coat cut close. She is never the loudest person in a hotel bar and she is generally the one being watched.
She is dry, worldly and very hard to shock, which makes her the right company for a guest whose week has gone badly and who would rather not perform through it. She does not flatter. If your plan for the evening is a poor one she will say so and propose a better one, and she is usually right. English is her language, used sparingly and exactly. She reads long biographies and holds strong opinions about people who have been dead for a century.
In the central area a single hotel is close enough to walk to from the terminals, and she often starts there simply because it is the one address where nobody has to get into a car. From the central terminals it is ten minutes out to the Bath Road hotels by road, or a slower free ride on the airport buses if you are not pressed. Margo comes in from Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly line, fifty minutes, and she is reliably early. Three hours is the shortest booking here and her travel sits inside it.
Which central hotels you can walk to and which need a car is set out on the Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 page, and Hester will give you Margo's next date back on this side without any fuss.

Booking her evening
For the central terminals Hester works from your flight rather than the hotel, because a guest at Terminal 2 and a guest at Terminal 3 are minutes apart and can share the same room block. Three hours minimum, travel included.
Her figures are the desk figures, published in full on rates, and the whole arrangement runs in one thread from the first line to the confirmation. Every frame in the hall is reached from the hall.

An evening with Margo
Margo does not waste the first twenty minutes. She arrives, sits down, orders something and asks a question that actually requires an answer, usually about the part of your week you were planning to skip over. It sounds abrupt on paper and it is not: she has a way of making directness feel like courtesy. Dinner is early, because the central area keeps airport hours and she knows exactly which kitchens close when. Afterwards she is happy to stay in, and she is one of the very few companions who can hold an evening together on conversation alone for three hours without either of you noticing the time. She has no interest in being agreed with. If you argue with her about a book she will enjoy the evening more, not less, and she will say so on the way out.

What if I just want to talk?

Written in afterwards
Nothing is written here for Margo yet, which out here is usually what discretion looks like. A note appears only when a guest writes one, she agrees to it, and the desk has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
