About Milena
Stockley Road curves away from the airport into fields, a golf course and a hotel car park that is always half full of hire vehicles, and Milena books more evenings there than anywhere else on this side of London. Curvy, 175 cm, her long straight black hair reaching the middle of her back, her brown eyes not much given to blinking. Twenty five, she dresses with obvious care: sharp tailoring, a high heel, gold at the wrist, and none of it is accidental.
She is forthright and funny and has no patience at all for an evening spent being polite. She will give you her verdict on your itinerary, your job and your coat, in roughly that order, and she is annoyingly often right. English is her language, quick and exact, and her laugh is loud enough to turn a head two tables away. She boxes at a gym in town three mornings a week and mentions it only when somebody assumes she does yoga.
The four-star out on Stockley Road is the address she gives most often: a proper hotel set back from the noise, a quarter of an hour by road from the central terminals and much the same from Terminal 5. The evening usually starts with dinner there and ends without either of you having looked at a phone. Milena comes out from South Kensington, forty minutes on the Elizabeth line to West Drayton and five more by car, which she maintains is the only civilised way to reach an airport. The three hour floor applies here as everywhere on this side, travel included.
Stockley Road, Cherry Lane and the walk in from the station are described on the West Drayton page. Give Hester a hotel and a start hour, and expect a straight yes or no about the evening.

Booking her evening
Hester confirms hotel, start time and length in a single message, and she quotes the real drive time rather than the optimistic one. Airport evenings begin at three hours with travel inside.
Her figures are the desk figures, published in full on rates, and the whole arrangement runs in one thread from the first line to the confirmation. Every frame in the hall is reached from the hall.

An evening with Milena
Milena takes charge of the small decisions in the first five minutes, which most guests find an enormous relief. Where to sit, what to drink, whether to eat now or in an hour: all settled before you have taken your coat off. Out on Stockley Road that usually means a table rather than the bar, because the bar there is for conferences and she has no interest in conferences. The conversation is fast and unsparing and very funny, and she is not remotely interested in agreeing with you for the sake of an easy night. Around the second hour she slows right down. That is the part guests remember: the abrupt change of gear, the questions that get quieter and more personal, the sense that she has stopped working the room. Stockley Road is dark and silent by then, and the airport might as well be in another county.
Milena, in her own words
How far is it really from the terminals?
Will you tell me if my plan is bad?
Do you prefer town or the airport?

Written in afterwards
Nothing is written here for Milena yet, which out here is usually what discretion looks like. A note appears only when a guest writes one, she agrees to it, and the desk has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
